Meet Rick. A young Canadian man who has decided that he wants to live out the rest of his life as a zombie. He has spent over 24 hours of his life being tattooed on over half of his body, including his face and hands, to look like a decaying corpse. Simply amazing. He sat down with Bizarre Magazine for an interview and photo shoot that is a must see.

Have you ever thought about having the tip of your nose removed?
Yes, and I’ve seen it before on TV. This guy had a flesh-eating disease and he was able to get his nose cut off because they gave him a prosthetic replacement. I was so jealous. I wanted it so bad. If I get my eyes blacked in I’ll get my nose removed. - An except from the interview.

To continue with the the new additions to the site, we have added an alphabetical list of all to artists featured on Art Diabolique to make it easier for our users to keep up with their favorite artists. The list will link directly to each of the artists’ homepage, it will be updated daily and link checked every month. The new artist list can be found under “Navigation” in the sidebar.

As many of you have noticed, we have started to feature other mediums and topics other than the so called “traditional” fine arts. We have decided to expand Art Diabolique’s coverage to include musicians, publishers, designers, galleries, film, and most importantly, a series of interviews planned for the upcoming months. Basically we have chosen to cast a wider net over all of the creative fields from which to draw inspiration. Be rest assured that we will still focus on artists that push social limitations. We will NOT align ourselves to any particular art movement, trend, or fad. Art is not a popularity contest and we do not pass judgement, but we will feature what we like and what we feel is relevant to the current dark zeitgeist.
